Yes, I really eat that much broccoli. I eat 1-2 pounds of broccoli a day, on average. Sometimes less, sometimes more.

I also started buying some vegan holiday treats. Some for my parents and some for a vegan holiday treat taste test video we will be filming next week. Lots of vegan holiday goodies out there this year!!
I also share a really quick, easy, healthy one pot pasta dish I made for my Dad. I cook my dad up a batch of food once or twice a week. He's not a healthy eater on his own. If I didn't cook for him he'd eat fast food, pizza, and other junk. I like to make him some healthier dishes. If I cook it for him, he eats it, which keeps him from making unhealthy choices instead.
If I were making this dish for myself, I would use lentil pasta instead and I wouldn't use the cauliflower and mushrooms that had salt, I'd use plain, salt free instead.
Still an overall really nutritious, healthy meal!!
Frozen veggies are still very nutritious and healthy! I eat a ton of them, but I do buy fresh produce too. I buy fresh organic produce at my local foods stores, separate from these hauls. I don't do food haul videos on those, because they are less interesting and exciting. Not much to see. I buy 2 tubs of the baby spinach and/or spring mix a week, for salads, tofu scramble, and just throwing handfuls in dishes. I buy lettuce, cabbage, avocados, tomatoes, cucumbers, broccoli, lemons. Those are usually the stables, but I buy what looks good and switch up the greens and veggies, sometimes collards greens, sometimes kale, etc.
As far as the nuts and seeds go...
Healthy fats are good and should be a part of a healthy plant based diet. Healthy fats are nuts, seeds, and avocados.
Healthy fats will not make you gain weight and can help with weight loss (and overall health, which is the most important thing!). They keep you full and satiated longer, which prevents you from snacking on other things.
Of course you shouldn't overdo the healthy fats, aim for 1-2 servings a day. If you have more one day, here and there, it won't matter. But, on an average day, aim for 1-2 servings. That's if you are trying to lose weight. If you are a desirable weight, you can have a little more healthy fat. Like I said, adding some healthy fat to a meal is good for keeping you satiated and providing you with nutrients.
Veggies you can eat unlimited servings! You should eat as much as you desire. I love veggies and eat a sh*t ton :)
